
Repair of elevators – current, emergency, capital repair
Conditionally, the repair of elevator equipment can be divided by type:
- current – repair (replacement) of the most rapidly wearing parts, for example, rollers of cabin doors and elevator shaft;
- emergency – premature deterioration and breakdown of some details of the equipment due to vandalism, improper operation, etc.;
- overhaul – upon reaching the service life of some details and main components (4-15 years);
- during modernization – when the limit service life of the elevator is reached (25 years).
Current repair:
1. Is permanent and is performed throughout the maintenance period as required.
2. The service is relevant for customers who have signed a maintenance contract with us.
3. Payment can be included in the maintenance bill or considered as a separate service (depending on the nature of the breakdown).
Emergency repair:
1. It is performed in case of unexpected failure of detail or assembly of the equipment.
2. This service is relevant for our regular customers who have signed a maintenance contract with us. But we are also ready to carry out repairs in case of a one-time request to our company.
3. The cost and terms of repair depend on the complexity of the breakdown and prices for spare parts.
Capital repair:
1. Necessary when emergency repair of assemblies and details becomes too frequent. This indicates that each detail or assembly of the elevator equipment has its own assessed service life, and it makes no sense to patch worn-out equipment constantly, actually pouring money down the drain.
2. Our company performs major repairs of the elevator both for our customers who have signed a contract with us for maintenance and for customers who need only repair.
3. As in case of emergency, the cost and terms of major repair depend on the volume of work and cost of materials.
Elevator modernization:
1. Every elevator must undergo a technical examination at the end of its service life with subsequent modernization or replacement. Read more about this here.

3. This service can be used by everyone.
4. The cost of the service and terms depend on the results of the examination, the volume of work, and the cost of materials.
